Welcome to AID TempeUrgent Appeal: Floods in AP and Karnataka
In Karnataka, heavy loss of life and destruction to property was in the northern districts of Bijapur, Bagalkot, Raichur and Bellary. Both in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, over 300,000 houses were damaged due to floods. AID Cricket Cup 2009The tournament was a great success and the funds raised will go towards projects currently being supported by AID Tempe. We are especially thankful to the group of girls for helping us raise additional funds by selling homemade lemonade and snacks at the grounds. AID Tempe since its inception in 2001 has always been actively involved in supporting projects in education, rural development, community empowerment etc.

According to the Press Trust of India (PTI), 400 villages in five districts in the state of Andhra Pradesh have been hit by the worst floods in 100 years.
